Project overview
Project 7 takes us to South Africa. An education and income center for children, young people, and women is being built in the Imizano Yethu township in Hout Bay near Cape Town. The project is being implemented together with our partners HEARTs e.V. and the Helping People Foundation. Over 30,000 people live in the township. Many families are affected by poverty, unemployment, and a lack of infrastructure. Children in particular often have no access to early education. Young people and women lack training opportunities and income prospects. We are supporting the establishment of a place that combines education, care, and economic prospects. The project strengthens early childhood development while creating employment and training opportunities. The goal is to create a long-term, self-sustaining model.
What is being implemented
- Construction of a preschool for children aged 1 to 6.
- Regular healthy meals and safe care.
- Two classrooms with furniture and learning materials.
- Kitchen for daily meals.
- Sanitary facilities, electricity, and clean water from our own well.
- Training and income center in the cosmetics and barber sector.
- Jobs and micro-income models for young people and women.
- Minibus for safe transportation of children and additional income through transportation services.

- Young people interested in training in the beauty or hairdressing sector.
- Women who want to build income and economic independence.
Donation target
Project 7 requires €60,000. All funds will go towards construction, equipment, and start-up operations on site.
